Oflox OZ Suspension is prescribed for the treatment of various infections in children, including:
- Diarrhea and dysentery: Caused by bacterial or protozoal infections.
- Gastrointestinal infections: Addressing infections in the digestive system.
- Urinary tract infections: Treating infections in the urinary system.
- Respiratory tract infections: Including bronchitis and pneumonia.
Dosage and Administration:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose.
- Administer orally, preferably at a fixed time, either before or after meals.
- If the child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose.
- Complete the full course of treatment, even if the child feels better.
Precautions:
- Inform your doctor if the child has a history of liver or kidney disease.
- Use with caution in children with neurological disorders.
- Avoid giving any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking this medicine, as these can interfere with its absorption.
